Listings are descriptions, not guarantees

A listing describes what we knew about a vehicle when we published it. Specifications, options, paint and trim codes, engine and transmission details, and production figures come from the vehicle itself, from documents we were given, and from published reference sources. Reference sources contain errors, and owners and restorers make changes over the decades that are not always documented. Treat a listing as a starting point for your own inspection, not as a certification of originality, matching numbers, or correctness.

Photographs

Photographs show the vehicle as it appeared on the date they were taken. They may show a condition that has since changed, or they may have been taken before a repair, repaint, or detail. Colors look different on different screens, and lighting hides flaws that daylight reveals. Small imperfections, prior bodywork, and wear that a camera does not capture may be present. Photographs are not a substitute for inspecting the vehicle.

Mileage

Odometer readings are recorded as shown at the time of listing. On a vehicle of this age, the odometer may have rolled over, may have been replaced, or may not reflect total mileage since new. The vehicle may be driven after the listing is published, including on test drives, so the mileage at delivery can be slightly higher than the figure shown. Where a title states that mileage exceeds mechanical limits or is not actual, we disclose that before sale.

Collector vehicles, emissions, and safety

Vehicles we sell are collector vehicles, not current-model transportation. Most were built before today's emissions control and safety standards existed and do not meet them. Airbags, antilock brakes, stability control, and modern crash structures are typically absent.

Registration, inspection, emissions testing, and road-use rules for older vehicles differ by state and locality, and some places restrict them. It is your responsibility to confirm the rules that apply where you will register and drive the vehicle. We do not modify a vehicle to meet an emissions or safety requirement unless that work is written into the buyer's order, and we do not represent any vehicle as compliant with a federal or state emissions standard or as suitable for daily use in traffic.
