Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: September 25, 2026
The short version: we do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of. You can still send us a request, and we will confirm in writing what we hold, where it came from, and how we use it.
What "sell" and "share" mean
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), "sell" means exchanging personal information for money or other valuable consideration. "Share" means making personal information available for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is the advertising that follows a person from one website to another. Both definitions cover more than the everyday idea of selling a mailing list, so a business can sell or share personal information without ever invoicing anyone for it.
Our practice
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not pass contact details to lead brokers, data brokers, marketing cooperatives, or other dealers, and we do not run advertising on this site that is targeted using your browsing history. This has been our practice for the twelve months before the date at the top of this page, and we have not sold or shared personal information in that period.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing. Because we do not sell or share, the signal does not change how we handle your information. It simply confirms the setting we already apply.
How to submit a request anyway
You can make a request by phone or email. We have no account system and no web form, so a request is just a message from you.
- Phone: +1 (804) 555-0100, Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 ET
- Email: [email protected]
Tell us your name, how to reach you, the state you live in, and what you want: to know what we hold, to receive a copy, to delete, to correct, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, or to opt out of sale or sharing. You can ask for all of these at once.
How we verify a request
We verify requests so that someone else cannot obtain your information by claiming to be you.
- For a request to know or to delete, we match at least two pieces of information you provide against our records, such as the phone number and email address you used with us.
- If we cannot verify your identity from what we hold, we will say so and explain what else would help.
- We will never ask for your Social Security number, a photograph of your driver's license, or a payment in order to process a privacy request. Anyone who asks for those in our name is not acting for us.
We respond within the period the CCPA allows. If we cannot act on part of a request, we tell you why.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We ask for written permission signed by you, or a copy of a power of attorney, and we may contact you directly to confirm that the agent is acting on your instructions. An agent can reach us through the same phone number and email address listed above. If you are an agent, say so in your first message and attach the authorization.
Non-discrimination
We will not deny you service, charge a different price, provide a lower level of service, or suggest that you will get a worse deal because you exercised a privacy right. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no financial incentive and no price difference is tied to opting out. A negotiated price on a vehicle depends on the vehicle, not on your privacy choices.
Other rights you have
California residents also have the right to know, to delete, to correct, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. The categories of information we collect, the sources, and the purposes are described on our Privacy Policy page, and this page covers the opt-out side of the same rules.
Virginia residents can make the same requests. Virginia does not have a single comprehensive consumer privacy statute, so those rights come from our policy and from Virginia contract and consumer protection law, but we handle Virginia requests the same way we handle California ones.

Changes to this page
If we ever begin to sell or share personal information, we will update this page before that happens, provide a clear way to opt out, and honor opt-out requests from that point forward.
